How to Pay for a SIP Trunk with USDT (Step-by-Step)

Short answer: Create an account, open the top-up page, choose USDT (TRC-20 or BEP-20), send the exact amount to the generated address, and your balance is credited automatically after network confirmation — typically under 5 minutes. No bank account, no card, no KYC.

Paying for telecom with stablecoins has gone from niche to normal. This guide walks through the full flow on VoxioTelecom — from zero to first call — plus the details that matter: network choice, confirmation times, and auto top-up.

Why crypto for VoIP?

  • Speed. A USDT TRC-20 transfer confirms in about a minute. An international wire takes days.
  • No banking friction. No frozen wires, no "high-risk merchant" declines, no card limits.
  • Borderless. Works identically whether you're in Bucharest, Bangkok or Buenos Aires.
  • Privacy. A crypto top-up doesn't require company documents or personal ID — see our no-KYC VoIP provider article for exactly what we do and don't collect.

Step 1 — Create your account

Sign up at voxiotelecom.com/auth with just an email address and password. You'll land in the portal immediately — no verification calls, no document uploads.

Step 2 — Open the top-up page

Go to Funds → Add funds in the portal. Select your currency:

CoinNetworks supportedTypical confirmation
USDTTRC-20, BEP-20~1–3 minutes
BTCBitcoin~10–30 minutes
LTCLitecoin~5–15 minutes
SOLSolana~1 minute

Tip: USDT on TRC-20 is the most popular choice among our customers — fees are around $1 and it confirms fast. BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain) works too; just make sure you select the same network in your wallet that you selected on the invoice.

Step 3 — Send the payment

The system generates a unique deposit address with an exact amount. Send the payment from your wallet or exchange:

  1. Copy the address (or scan the QR code).
  2. Double-check the network — sending TRC-20 to a BEP-20 address (or vice versa) is the #1 cause of lost funds in crypto payments.
  3. Send the exact amount shown.

Step 4 — Automatic crediting

Our reconciliation job checks the payment gateway continuously. As soon as the transaction confirms on-chain:

  • Your portal balance is credited in USD automatically.
  • The deposit appears in your funds history.
  • If your account was suspended for low balance, it reactivates automatically once the balance is positive again.

No tickets, no "please confirm my payment" emails. If a deposit ever underpays slightly (exchange withdrawal fees), partial amounts are still credited — you don't lose the payment.

Step 5 — Create your trunk and call

With a funded balance:

  1. Go to SIP Trunks → New trunk — credentials are generated instantly and remain visible in your portal.
  2. Choose your caller ID policy: pass-through, fixed, or hidden.
  3. Point your PBX at our SBC (see the FreePBX setup guide) and dial.

Everything is billed per second (1/1) — a 7-second test call costs 7 seconds, not a minute.

Optional: auto top-up

For production traffic, enable auto top-up so a low balance never interrupts your calls. The flow mirrors the manual one: an invoice is generated, you fund it once, and future invoices can be paid the same way — combined with balance alerts, your trunks stay live without manual babysitting.

Frequently asked questions

Which USDT network should I use?

TRC-20 for the lowest fees and fastest confirmation. BEP-20 is a fine alternative. Never mix networks between invoice and wallet.

How long until my balance shows the deposit?

Typically 1–5 minutes for USDT/LTC/SOL, up to ~30 minutes for BTC depending on mempool congestion.

Is there a minimum deposit?

Small test deposits are welcome — many customers start with $10–20, run CLI test calls, then scale.

Do you accept cards or PayPal?

No — crypto only. That's a deliberate choice: it keeps onboarding instant and available worldwide.

What if I send from an exchange?

Works fine — but send from an exchange that lets you specify the network, and account for their withdrawal fee so the received amount matches the invoice. Underpayments are credited proportionally, not rejected.
